Awash with Flowers

Well it has been a long time that I have posted anything on my Blog.  I have just been busy with life.  Every day that goes by I feel like I am so busy but my Stampin Up business has been put on the back burner.  With the new 2010-2011 Catalog coming up July 1st, there is so much to do.  So I have been stamping and creating but just have posted anything.  So here is a card I made  using " Awash with Flowers",  I have heard by a little birdie that this stamp set is going to be in the new catalog. The   colors used in this card are Whisper White, Cameo coral (soon to be retired) Apricot Appeal (also soon to be retired).  I am in love with Stampin Ups two step stamps. Pink and Brown (My Favorite Color Combo)

I wanted to make a card for one of my dearest Friends. She has been on my heart lately.  So I made this card with one of my favorite color combinations.  Chocolate Chip and Pretty in Pink.  I made a circular card with the Stampin Ups Big Scallop Die.  To make a card you put folded seam just about 3 scallops over ( do not cut the seam of the paper).  Then just run it through your big shot. Your card should open like a card.

MY MARCH STAMP CLUB PROJECT

 This months Stamp club project is a CD folder mini Scrapbook.  I took a class from Patty Bennett about a year ago.  She has a link on her blog to purchase instruction on how to make this adorable book on her blog.    www.pattystamps.com. This is my version using product from the Occasion mini catalog.  I used the Designer Series Paper called: Sending Love Specialty.  Also from the mini catalog I used the new "Sending Love Epoxy Brads".  Just love these adorable little brads.   I also used the the bigz die for Big shot called "Two Tags" The girls at Stamp club just love this book and had a great time making it. Need any more info just send me a note.  I hope you liked it.  This was one of my favorite projects.

 

St. Patty's Day Treat!!!

Ok this is an idea I had after seeing a Clover with a tiara.  Well not one of my better ideas.  I thought I would share this little flop with you all.  After all we all need a little laugh.  So at Patty's meeting she showed us how to take tags from the Big Shot Die called Two Tag Die stick them together and make a little treat holder.  So with St. Patrick's Day almost her I thought I would make a treat holder. Hers she made was so adorable.  I will post soon. So here is the recipe for this project.

Paper:  Old Olive, Very Vanilla, and DSP from the Sale-a-bration catalog.

Punch:  Heart to Heart # 113694, 1 3/4 circle, 3/4 circle punch

Ink: Old Olive

Stamp: Go Green # 117074 (occasions mini catalog)

This project was a big hit with my stamp club girls. So sparkly.  The close up picture show some of the sparkle.  Real Red and Whisper White Stampin' Up! card stock. Real red ink used.  Stamp set is  in the Holiday Mini Catalog calleded "Serene Snowflakes #115438 $ 20.95.

Other things used to create this banner are : Versa Mark, Heat and stick powder, red fine glitter. snowflake punch, snowflake #2 Die for the Big Shot, organza Whisper White ribbon, Ribbon Originals "Mistletoe", and Rhinestone Brads Clear, Big Shot Clear Scallop Square.

Merry Banner

Here is one banner we made for December's Stamp Club.  I got my inspiration from Sandy's blog here.  I used the Designer Series paper called Merry Moments # 115672. The colors in the paper are Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Old Olive, Garden Green and Very Vanilla. So that is the card stock colors I used. I also used bigz clear dies  Scallop Square 21.95 #115950. Numbers #115968 Big shot. Letters Serif Essential #113464, Jumbo snowflake punch #116628 $15.95 . I used many different ribbons 5/8 Grosgrain Ribbon real red, Taffeta Ribbon Very Vanilla, Sleigh Bell, 1/4 Grosgrain Ribbon Chocolate Chip,Real Red.  Also a few stamp set Patterned Pines (hostess set)

Delightful Decorations and Season of Joy.  I hope you enjoy this Holidays season with your family.

More Baby Shower (Banner for Lexi)

  My best friend,sister-in-law and I through a Baby Shower for our Dear Friend Kim.  She is having a baby Girl in January. She has a son that is 14.  So needless to say she needed everything.

 We are so excited for her!!!

So after buying paper good I created this banner for her. Being a Mother and Grandmother of boys, anytime I get to use Glitter and pink and purple make it so fun for me. I will post supplies used after my rambling. 

We bought white cake boxes in stead of Paper plates.  We made Chicken salad sandwiches on croissants, fresh fruit salad, and pasta salad. Wrap and put salads in little containers, then tied a ribbon around box. Then told ladies to open there boxes and Lunch was served.  We got to enjoy the shower with our friend. No serving  and not alot of mess.  We got a lot of great feedback from the guests.

Baby Shower Favor (Take II)

So here is the Favor I did use for the Baby Shower.  I made 30 of them.  But was pretty fast when you use The Big Shot.   The die used is Stampin' Ups Fancy Favor #115965 $39.95.

Supplies :  Whisper White card stock and Lovely Lilac.

Ink : Lovely Lilac, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Green Galore marker

Stamps:  Flight of the Butterfly, Monogram Sweet

Punches, Circle Scallop , 1 3/8" circle punch, 1 " Circle punch. 

Baby Shower Favor ( Stampin' Up! Fancy Favors)

Here is a baby shower favor I made. I was playing around with.  I love pink and brown color combo.  I used Chocolate Chip card stock and Pretty In Pink.  Used the new "Stampin Up! Fancy Favor Box Die # 115965. I cut the edge of the box off and then used the opposite color and glued to to the bottom of the box. Made 2 straps 1/2 inch wide and 8" long and adhered to each side. The baby's name is going to be Alexis so made a monogram tag with her initial (Stamp set used is Monogram Sweet # 115462)  Bought pink M & M's and  wrapped then in mesh and then tied some ribbon around. ( non SU ribbon)  I need some really thin ribbon. Then i went shopping for Plates and napkins I looked for Baby shower things in Pink and brown but had no luck so I had to change my colors.  So this was the first favor I made.  Next favor box will be posted tomorrow.  So my lesson learned is to find party napkins and plates first then make your favors.  Thanks for looking today.  I'll post the favor I used for baby shower Tuesday.
